Back to work.

Pic of the day 20/365
Back to work today.
MLK Jr. day.

My venturing out of the dead end for the weekend made the paper suffer. A centerpiece image was missing since I didn't make it to an event that was my responsibility. No skin off my back in the long run. I don't regret it and was glad to get away.
I feel that I am owed a getaway for my low pay, overwhelming responsibilities at times and various other things that construct my day to day here.

I have begun to thing about the not so distant future and where I will be, an what will be my plan of attack. A bit of time each day is spent skimming the pool of jobs to get a feel for the possibilities.

More time on the web means that I stumble upon more goodies to share which leads to the link of the day.

Being a photojournalist in particular you really should never be without a camera, and rarely I am. And as life would have it I miss a shot here and there.
I was able to keep up my post a day/photo a day while on the road this weekend. This was because I kept my camera at my side at all times despite the sub-freezing temperatures.

The link is a collection of writings from photographers and the photographs they missed. They are told as moments in time and space that were not captured with a camera but moments that were lived and remembered.
Link of the day.
