Blogging

The time has come to begin blogging... After some debating I have decided to jump on the bandwagon and begin. My hopes include a daily entry that will detail my daily life attempting to escape a nexus and obtain my dreams.

Currently, I find myself fulfilling the position of photojournalist/staff writer at small daily newspaper (+/-10,000 circulation) in Lumberton, NC. I see it as a starting point on a road to bigger and better things. Each day is a struggle but I am living up to the definition of my name. In this blog one thing I hope to accomplish is to document my daily toils and the amazement I have that they are able to make it to print daily.

I chose this path over a few others to fulfill the eagerness that I had to begin another life and to escape once again. I find myself wanting to escape once again. I look back at times past wishing they didn't have to end. But, why should I get stuck in the past when I have my whole life ahead of me. My resolution last year was to be more positive. I feel that I was somewhat successful in this but, I hope to oust that and excel the minor improvement in 08. I still have the ability to a Debbie Downer (for lack of better term). Each day filled with it's frustrations will only test me more.

I will also be offering links to the few who may stumble upon this blog in their daily ramble just to add some humor or an uplifting note to their day.

This blog is very much about sharing, whether it be a subconscious ramble or words or wisdom from myself or others that I feel strongly about. It will be a vent for me and an attempt to fill void(s).
