Me, this morning at breakfast.
Missed a post. Disappointed in myself for that one but I had a busy day that included work, driving, gallery opening and micro-brew.
Showing Support: (a post for Friday)

A friend won an award at the gallery opening on Friday night. It is great step up for her work. She received a memorial scholarship.

I hoped to receive a bit of acknowledgment for my work in the show. Maybe I did, but did I didn't get any conversations on such. It will be up for another month so maybe one will sell.
In a world lacking creativity at the newspaper. It was good to be back in a gallery.

Wake up call from a four-legged entity, breakfast, NPR and first-person road battles. Arriving home not wanting to tackle a mound of laundry. To take on the laundry means fighting for territory in the laundry mat.
Being geographically isolated can put a strain on some while others find solace in that. To seek enlightenment and entertain one must travel, but it isn't something I find too terrible. (thankfully Interstate 95 is bi-sector of the county)
In my recent journeys around the state I have found myself checking out the local paper and wonder what life is like for them. Glancing at 1A I can get a feeling of the newsroom at the smaller outlets. The 1A for larger outlets creates a bit of a day dream and longing.
In another world of longing and day dreaming it the hopes to someday to something grand such as summiting Everest (stop laughing). The first to do so died this week. This is his life in pictures.
