"Evidence of My Existence"

Pic of the day 14/365

Today is about a link.
I was interviewed by some children today. They came to the office for a tour and to learn about newspapers. They will soon be publishing a newspaper of their own(and we were promised copies.) I was asked a few things about the job I hold and a few other general things.
I was happy when I was able to tell the kids "There are more important things in life than money. Work toward something that will you love and find happiness." That was my response on why I am doing what I am doing.
The link today hits home for me because it is how I can see my life in the near future, if life decides that road if for me. I long to travel and see the world in hopes of sharing with others.
I can definitely see myself traveling, living out of a duffel bag and living through airports. I have nearly nothing holding me back or tying me down. I am free to go about the this crazy giant marble.

In reference to an earlier post. HERE
and this quote

"A journalist tells stories. A photographer takes pictures of nouns (people, places and things). A photojournalist takes the best of both and locks it into the most powerful medium available - a single frozen image." - Mark M. Hancock

Photographs are accepted as reality (that is their power). That is why they are used for news telling. They are seen as fact and proof that YOU WERE THERE. There are only of the few things as of now that are evidence of my existence. The images are my motivation for now, in hopes that they will inform, document and provide evidence of the nouns.

And now for the link of the day.
"Travel is a compulsive craving. An addiction. Heroin. The buzz is euphoric and the opportunities are infinite, all open to him as a photojournalist."
Evidence of My Existence

Someday I might also be a father and that is an ultimate goal. To be able to make another's life infinitely happy and open the doors for them. Is there anything better than being able to bring happiness to an another individual(s)?
